Richard Fenderson is the current Operations Supervisor at New Freedom Academy in Canterbury, NH. He initially joined the NFA team in 2018 and has served in a variety of roles throughout his tenure. His experience in different roles, including Recovery Support Specialist, Lead Recovery Support Specialist and Recovery Case Manager has given him a tremendous amount of knowledge that he brings to his current position. He was an integral part of the transition from primary substance use treatment to primary mental health treatment in 2023, rewriting client guidelines, facility policies and operational procedures. His passion for helping others and developing leaders is unmatched in the field.
