Katie Del Rio is a dedicated and compassionate program director who began with GMTC as a clinician. She is committed to helping clients navigate life’s challenges through a therapeutic approach. She has been working in the field of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders since 2015 in various locations around the country. Katie Del Rio is a Marine Corps combat veteran who deployed in OEF in 2011, she has service the country with honor, courage and commitment. She obtained her master’s degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in forensic psychology and applied research from Capella University. She believes in the power of therapeutic relationships and works collaboratively with the civilian population and the veteran population, empowering them to achieve their own personal goals in their sobriety. When not working with clients, Katie Del Rio enjoys traveling and various water activities, this helps her maintain a healthy work-life balance.
