Green Mountain Treatment Center and the staff at the facility are second to none. I cannot speak more highly of the experience that I had there. If it were not for GMTC, I certainly would not be sober today and would most likely not be alive.

Green Mountain Treatment Center was for me the best experience of my life it help me learn the model of addiction and truly understand the reasoning behind my disease. The staff taught me that it's not just about getting sober it's about building a connection with a Higher Power building a community of people who understand and I cannot do this alone. The whole staff is very knowledgeable understanding and kind always trying to help and make the stay as comfortable as possible. One of my favorite things about this place is the dedicated men and women who care so much about saving the lives of others who struggle with the disease of alcoholism/addiction. They also have a great program geared towards Veterans and First Responders. We can work separately on some of our own challenges that keep us in the dark. There is a way out there really is thank you God for placing me on that mountain thank you GMTC and showing me the way out.

Green Mountain was a huge part of my journey and why I am still clean/Sober since 06/16/2019, the staff was caring, knowledgeable and more then patient.Also the food was great and kitchen staff awesome.Now the RAWTRTH part, I came up against some of my own demons and could not bring myself to address them, therefore I got kicked off the Mountain twice.Despite all that, I retained the teachings from the Mountain and the huge amount of caring that the staff gave me and utilized that strength to get clean and sober again.Thank you so much to Green Mountain Staff, for those of you in need of help reading this give yourself, a love one in need or a friend a chance by going to Green Mountain.Luke

Green Mountain Treatment Center saved my life, pure and simple. I went there more than once, but the most recent stay was the first time I truly wanted to get sober. Much good can be said about their facility and the stunning views, the caring 12 step coordinators, counselors, therapists, and nurses...but what truly sets this facility apart from the others in New England is their programming. This is the place where you will get the truth about your disease and the truth about what THE solution is. This program and the almost two months I spent working it gave me my life back. I had lost virtually everything, but because of the foundation I began building at GMTC I am now 19 months clean and sober, am a parent to my now two year old, a sponsor to multiple men in AA, in school for addiction counseling and a supervisor at a residential treatment center in Massachusetts. If they would let me back sober to work their program again I would...that's how good it is. HIGHLY recommend to anyone struggling with addiction or to any family looking for somewhere to send their loved one who is struggling.

Green mountain and granite recovery centers saved my life. They showed me that I could live like other people, they taught me how to be a man that takes responsibility and accepts accountability. Going to GMTC has absolutely changed my life! I swear there’s magic on that mountain! Not only did it change my life but I got clean for the first time. I’ll be celebrating getting my 40 day chip soon! GMTC will always have a place in my heart and everyone I met there taught me something that lead me to where I am today. The view obviously is gorgeous, but when you’re on that mountain it challenges you & pushes you to your limits so you can GROW & HEAL… which in the long run places a part in becoming sober. I’ve never felt so amazing in my life. Sometimes I actually miss being there. It’s taught me to appreciate the small things in life & take it day by day. I love you so so much GMTC. Thank you for changing me, changing my life abs helping me get sober! An absolute 20/10 place. I’ll always recommend GMTC to anyone I can who’s struggling in addiction. That’s another thing GMTC taught me.. you help others any way you can.. those moments when you’re helping someone, is like no other feeling in the world. I’ll continue being do service to anyone in active addiction.

My treatment experience at Greenmountain was phenomenal. The staff was second to none. I wouldn’t be where I am today without this place.
